By the mercy of Allah, Masjidun Noor Madrasa for the Blind was established on November 1, with the aim of bringing light to those whose world has become dark without sight.
To provide a new beginning and meaningful life for our brothers and sisters who have lost their eyesight and live in darkness.
To offer free food, clothing, shelter, and a place for prayer within our madrasa. Additionally, to extend monthly medical and livelihood assistance to visually impaired individuals across Tamil Nadu.
To train our students in various vocational skills and help them establish sustainable means of earning a livelihood.
To organize medical camps in rural and urban areas, spreading awareness about preventable eye diseases such as glaucoma and retinal disorders.
To provide monthly financial assistance to the widows and families of deceased imams, empowering them to lead a dignified life.
To rescue visually impaired individuals living in non-Islamic care homes and reintegrate them into a compassionate, faith-centered environment.
At Masjidun Noor Men's Madrasa, we provide free accommodation, food, and shelter for visually impaired brothers who are without family or support.
We also rescue visually impaired individuals who were previously staying in non-Islamic care homes and help them rebuild their lives in a compassionate, faith-centered environment.
After joining our home, many of these brothers have transformed into regular worshippers, sincerely learning and practicing their deen (religion) with dedication and discipline.
At Masjidun Noor Girls' Madrasa, we offer free accommodation, food, and a nurturing Islamic environment for visually impaired sisters in need.
We assist visually impaired women who have been residing in non-Islamic shelters by welcoming them into a safe, spiritually uplifting home.
On behalf of Masjidun Noor, we provide monthly financial assistance to the families of deceased imams (widows).
Imams are the backbone of our community. When they suddenly pass away, their families often face severe financial hardship. Understanding their struggles, we have established a program that offers ₹1300 every month to support these families and ease their difficulties.
Before providing assistance, we ensure proper verification by obtaining formal letters from the respective jamaats (local congregations) and conducting a careful review process. Alhamdulillah, this initiative continues to bring relief and stability to many deserving families.
To ensure that our residents perform their Salah (Namaz/Prayer) on time without having to travel long distances, the Masjid has been established adjacent to the madrasa. This facility operates efficiently, providing a convenient and supportive environment for worship and learning. Alhamdulillah, it has been functioning successfully and serving the needs of our community.
Salah is the second pillar of Islam and holds immense importance in the life of a Muslim. It is a direct connection between the worshipper and Allah.
Our Masjid provides a spiritual sanctuary where residents can connect with Allah, find peace, and strengthen their faith through regular congregational prayers.
On behalf of Masjidun Noor Institute for the Blind, a special one-day Tarbiyah session and monthly aid distribution program is conducted regularly for visually impaired and differently-abled individuals.
During this event, beneficiaries receive either financial assistance or essential grocery supplies to support their daily living needs.
Every month, more than 50 visually impaired families benefit from this ongoing initiative, which aims to uplift and empower them through both spiritual guidance and social support.
Expanding our services to reach more lives through compassion and education.
